New Nokia Commercial Pits Lumia 925 Against Apple’s iPhone 5: Ad Focused On Complaints About iPhone Photo Capabilities [WATCH HERE]

A new Nokia commercial that came out recently pitted the Lumia 925 against Apple’s iPhone 5, focusing on user complaints that a purple flare is seen on photos taken using the newest iPhone’s camera app, reported the International Business Times.

The technical problem was illustrated in the Nokia commercial by showing a human being wielding the new Nokia Lumia 925 while walking at night, who then encounters a number of zombie-looking creatures that appear like overexposed flash photos, complete with pale skin and red eyes. All of whom had the iPhone 5.

The advert, described by Vittorio Hernandez of the Business Times, shows that the Apple user falls prey to overexposure. It then concluded with the blurb: The best pictures in any light. Even without a flash.

It was a reference to the newly released Lumia 925 that runs on Windows Phone 8.

The improved camera lens is one of the major selling points of the Nokia Lumia 925. The device features a 4.5 inch screen with 1280 x 768 resolution, and comes with Optical Stabilisation and Nokia’s Smart Phone Camera app.

The Lumia 925 has a dual-core Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 processor.

It is important to note that the advert pits two phone makers who had once dominated the market, Nokia during the 1990s and Apple in the mid-2000s, against each other.

Since releasing a range of Android-powered phones, Samsung and its Galaxy S4 lines has made the South Korean tech giant the number one player in the smartphone market, according to the Business Times.
