Val Kilmer on 'Top Gun 2,' 'Heat 2' And Gratuitous Sex With Natalie Portman

Val Kilmer is back! The 53-year-old actor appeared on Larry King's Hulu show,"Larry King Now," and discussed the possibility of sequels to his two most famous roles as well as "acting" with Natalie Portman in "Heat 2."

Kilmer started by discussing the famous Scott film Top Gun. Despite acknowledging that his character, flyboy Iceman, might be gay, he says "I think it wouldn't be that difficult to maintain the spirit of it."

He acknowledged the problems since both the original director, Tony Scott, and Bruckheimer's producing partner have both died since the Tom Cruise vehicle took flight.

The former of whom actually committed suicide in dramatic fashion, jumping off the Vincent Thomas Bridge in the San Pedro port district of LA. But Kilmer was non-plussed by those obvious setbacks to a reunion with his Iceman character.

"Tony was the most generous, positive director I've ever worked for in film," Kilmer recalled. "He's not known as an actor's director because he's such a vivid stylist with the camera, but he really loved acting and getting the shot."

But Val isn't the only one thinking sequels. Producer Jerry Bruckheimer recently told the Daily News he's on board.

"Tony came to us with a vision for the story that excited me, excited Tom and excited Paramount," Bruckheimer told the News while promoting his latest film, The Lone Ranger.

"Hopefully we can keep that vision and everybody wants to do it, it just got derailed by Tony's unfortunate passing.

"But we're still excited about it, we've been excited for 30 years to make the movie, but we've never had a story that everybody signed off on until now."

Have faith Val Kilmer, you'll be riding in the cockpit with a 50-year-old twice divorced Tom Cruise, and you'll barely fit! See below for details.

But Top Gun 2 isn't the only prior film Kilmer was hoping to reboot. He has his own idea for a sequel to Michael Mann's actor-heavy ensemble drama starring Al Pacino and Robert DeNiro--the first film to feature both against one another (they were in Godfather 2 together, but didn't appear in any scenes together).

"Here's my pitch," Kilmer said.

"You remember Natalie Portman in it? She's Pacino's adopted daughter, so she comes home and says, 'Daddy, daddy, I want you to meet my fiancé.'

"And it's me. He's retired and I come to Chicago where he's retired back to and I'm going to torture him, and then I'm going to kill him."

It should be noted at this point that Val Kilmer looks like this:
