Naughty Dog Uncharted Movie Written By Seth Rogen And Evan Goldberg [VIDEO]? Will The Last Of Us Film Follow?

Although rumors of an Uncharted movie has circulated since the first game was released, the names Seth Rogen and Evan Goldberg are certainly new additions to the Naughty Dog franchise.

During an interview with IGN for the movie "This is the End," Rogen and director Goldberg mentioned off-handedly of being approached repeatedly by Naughty Dog to write the film adaptation, though they've apparently refused so far.

"They're constantly asking me and Evan to make the Uncharted movie," admitted the 31-year-old Rogen.

"For like four years now they've been just like, 'Make an Uncharted movie for us," added Goldberg.

"But it's just gonna be 'Indiana Jones!'"

The movie has been in development hell since 2007. The closest it came to fruition was when David O. Russell became attached to direct and Mark Wahlberg was to play Nathan Drake.

However, once O. Russell left due to creative differences with Sony, the film stalled again.

Although the likelihood of Seth Rogen and Evan Goldberg actually taking on the project is slim, it does show that Naughty Dog is highly interested in turning their titles into possible movie franchises.

And with the recent success of The Last of Us, could it be next?

Fans and Youtubers alike have already pointed out the cinematic prominence of The Last of Us, and there is even a cinematic edition on Youtube featuring only cut scenes and the story elements.

Either way, Naughty Dog's venture into Hollywood will have to wait a while longer, whether it is with Nathan Drake or Joel and Ellie.
