Two Brothers Found Dead: A Nine And 12-Year-Old Half-Brothers Shot And Killed In Jackson, Ohio

Two brothers found dead in Jackson, Ohio Wednesday morning at their grandparent's home were the ages of nine and 12.

The two brothers found dead were half-brothers named Blake Campbell, nine, and Austin Wiseman, 12, were discovered by their grandparents at their home, which was where the two brothers found dead were living. It is believed that gunshots led to their deaths.

Authorities told WSAZ that they are currently not searching for any suspects, but a .44 caliber was recovered at the scene, but not confirmed to be used in the shooting where the two brothers found dead were upstairs at the grandparent's home.

"Our community is deeply saddened by this tragedy and our sympathies go out to all those who have been affected," Jackson Police Chief Eisnaugle told WSAZ. "It's a shock. We don't know anything about any whys."

The police received a call at 11:05 a.m. Wednesday morning after the bodies were found dead. There is no word on who was there during the shooting or even when the bodies were found.

"That's crazy to think two young boys are dead, and no one knows anything about it," neighbor Michael Hatley told WSAZ.

Preliminary autopsy results will be released Thursday.

"I just hope the community comes together for the family and just prays with them and grieves with them," another neighbor Kindra Massie said.
