Shakira’s Boyfriend Gerard Piqué Cheered By ‘Hips Don’t Lie’ Singer At Spain Vs Italy Match, And Waves At Fans While Resting With Baby

Shakira was full of positive energy this week, as she cheered on her boyfriend Gerard Piqué at the Spain vs Italy soccer match and waved to adoring fans from her balcony in Brazil.

The Colombian singer, 36, cheered excitedly for her soccer star boyfriend as he took to the pitch for the FIFA Confederations Cup Brazil 2013 Semi Final match between Spain and Italy, The Daily Mail reports.

Shakira wore a black and white graphic tank with her blonde hair hanging in long, loose curls, as she talked excitedly with the other Spanish VIPs around her while her beau played the match. Despite her cheering, the game, played in Brazil, ended with a tie nil-nil result.

Piqué is a center back for both FC Barcelona and the Spanish National team.

Soccer brought the couple together when Shakira recorded the official song for the 2010 FIFA World Cup called Waka Waka (This Time for Africa), where Piqué appeared in the music video.

They announced in September 2012 that they were expecting their first child and Milan was born on January 22 in Barcelona, where the couple live.

While resting on Friday at her Brazilian hotel room with baby Milan, Shakira blew kisses and gave two thumbs up to fans.

Shakira wore a simple, sleeveless maxi dress with a natural face and seemed to have lost all of her baby weight.

Earlier this week, the singer finished her role as judge on the NBC show "The Voice."

According to The Daily Mail, Shakira plans to return to Spain at the end of the summer to focus on bringing up Milan and to record her eighth album.
