Alyssa Milano graces the cover of Maxim magazine, posing topless and looking great at 40-years-old.

For the July/August issue, Milano wears a blue plaid shirt open over her cleavage and white shorts, but not much else. She accessorizes with a double-strand necklace, with her dark brown hair styled naturally.

According to The Daily Mail, another picture inside the magazine features Alyssa showing off her bare midriff in a pearl-detailed white bra, loose sweater and cut-off jean shorts.

In the article, Milano discusses growing up as a child star on the late 1980s sitcom "Who's the Boss?"

"It wasn't weird, because I didn't know any different," she said. "You know, I went through puberty like everyone else; it only got embarrassing when the show would take what was going on with me and write it into the show, like "Samantha's First Bra." It was like, OK, guys, do we really need to do this? But what an awesome time stamp!"

The actress also talks about how lucky she is to have survived her star-studded childhood.

"That was an era when TV child actors just didn't work after their show was over," she explained. "I think Christina Applegate and I are the only two who maintained some sort of career path past the shows that launched us."

She attributed a lot of her happiness to her husband and baby. "But I have a great family, and I look at a lot of these kids who struggle in the industry and think they'd have struggled no matter what they did."

Milano married CAA agent David Bugliari in 2009. In 2011, the couple welcomed baby boy Milo, who is now 22 months old.

Ayssa now stars on ABC's new drama "Mistresses." Although the show is filmed in Los Angeles, Alyssa tries to spend as much time as possible in New York where she was born and raised, The Daily Mail reports.
