Android 5.0 Key Lime Pie Phones: Samsung Galaxy S3, Galaxy S4 and Galaxy Note Devices May Receive Google's Newest OS

Android 5.0 Key Lime Pie release date may already be this Fall 2013, more specifically in October. Christian Post cited a report from Street Journal that the launch of upcoming OS, with secret code “K Release” will happen most probably in October, as Google will already be "wrapping up development on the next version of Android" during that time

But aside from the rumors about the Android 5.0 Key Lime Pie release date, mobile users are also interested to know about which specific smart phone models will get the newest Google OS.

Recently, a leaked list of Samsung devices that may get the Android 5.0 Key Lime Pie was handed to SamMobile. According to the website's post, an insider handed to them the first pre-list of devices that will end with Android 4.2.2 as well as those that will get the Android 5.0 Key Lime Pie.

There are rumors before that most Android devices might get the latest offering of Google's OS because it can run in system that has at least 512 MB of RAM. And the list that came out could confirm which will be the Android 5.0 Key Lime phones.

The unofficial list which came from an insider from the South Korea-based smart phone manufacturing company claimed that the possible Android 5.0 Key Lime Pie phones are: Samsung Galaxy S3, Galaxy S4, Galaxy Note 8.0, Galaxy Note 2 and Galaxy Note 10.1. According to SamMobile, the insider also revealed that plenty of middle-range Android devices released last year and this year will be receiving a value pack update as well, similar to what the company has made to Galaxy devices, 1st generation. Furthermore, Google's next version of OS will definitely be a huge update, thus, it may take some time to finish the upgrade process.
