Turkey will face off against Australia in a FIFA U20 World Cup 2013 match tonight, a game that could bring the host team, Turkey, past the Round of 16 in first position.

Both Turkey and Australia are in Group C of the FIFA U20 World Cup 2013, competing against rival teams Colombia and El Salvador.

Turkey, who is playing after a 1-0 loss to Colombia, is currently in second place within Group C with three points, bearing three goals in their favor with one goal working against them.

Although the Turks fell to Colombia at home, they defeated El Salvador 3-0 last week.

Australia, recovering from a surprising 2-1 loss to El Salvador, is currently in fourth place within the group with just one point - they have two goals in their favor and three goals working against them.

The Socceroos tied with group leader Colombia 1-1 and fell to El Salvador 2-1, a loss that pitted Australia in last place within Group C.

Australia has not made it past the group stages of the FIFA U20 World Cup for nearly a decade.

Turkey is expected to play Australia in Trabzon at the Avni Aker stadium.
