Meanwhile, Vanessa Hudgens has reunited with Ashley Tilsdale on a new, secret film project.

Vanessa Hudgens’ “Spring Breakers” won’t actually hit in physical form until next month, but director Harmony Korine controversial piece of cinema is already doing strong with those who have made the switch to digital.

Selena Gomez happily took to Twitter page to thank the fans for showing their support. She seemed excited that viewers seemed to be enjoying the hot new movie about four college students who cut loose on Spring Break, getting drunk and going on a crime spree. Spring Breakers only cost $5 million to make but the controversy helped it pull in $14 million domestically and $35 million worldwide. It will be available on DVD or Blu-ray on July 19.

Vanessa Hudgens tweeted back a simple smiley face. Korine’s “Spring Breakers,” has been described as raunchy and it looks like Hudgens’ and Gomez’s fans are ready to see them in more adult roles.

Ashley Tisdale and Vanessa Hudgens have reunited on the set of a new film. The High School Musical alums were seen filming together wearing casual sweats on Wednesday.

Although they haven’t said anything about the new movie yet, BFFs offscreen, Tilsale and Hudgens took to Instagram later that day in the same sweats clowning around and mimicking a scene from “Bridesmaids.”
