Justin Miller Found Dead: Ex-MLB Pitcher Dies At The Age Of 35

Justin Miller found dead at his home in Clearwater, Florida. The former MLB pitcher of seven years at the highest level died at 35-years-old Wednesday with no cause yet given.

Miller was under contract to five different teams in those seven years and worked out of the bullpen. Justin Miller found dead almost four years after his last pitch was thrown on a major league roster in 2009.

Justin Miller found dead where he has lived since 2002. His agent reported the death of his client Saturday.

"Wonderful guy, great client. Very disappointed," Miller's agent, Matt Sosnick told FOX Sports.

Miller is leaving behind two sons, Joseph, 18, Johnnie, 7, and his wife, Jessica Miller. She told the Tampa Bay Times that Justin was spending time as a coach since his retirement.

She said he "was gifted at putting things in a language that kids could understand. That is something he was really proud of."

Jessica Miller admitted that her husband's death was sudden and she was unsure how he passed away.

"I think he'd want the world to know that he always did his best at work and at being a dad," she told the Times. "He always tried."

It was in 2004 when the MLB enforced the "Justin Miller rule," which forced pitchers to cover up their tattoos. Miller had tattoos on his arms that according to hitters, was distracting them during their at bats.
