Avril Lavigne Marries Nickelback's Chad Kroeger In France Following Engagement After One Month Of Dating [Video]

Avril Lavigne married Nickelback frontman Chad Kroeger yesterday in the south of France, and we've got all the details on the marriage, as well as how their colloboration in the studio is coming.

The CEO of the talent agency that represents Lavigne, sent out a Tweet on Saturday night talking about the ceremony in the south of France.

He then apologized for not sending any Twitter pics, explaining that it was Avril's big day.

We're pretty sure he's probably already sold the wedding's photo rights to a tabloid, and that's why he's not tweeting out photos of the proceedings.

The 28-year-old Lavigne had said earlier this year that the wedding would be a lavish, and the South of France environment certainly encourages that sort of conspicuous consumption.

"'I just want to make sure I really enjoy this amazing time and I want all the guests who come to have this once in a lifetime experience. I want everyone to say, 'Wow!' and for it to be special for everyone, not just us."

The "Girlfriend" singer, was previously married to Sum 41 star Deryck Whibley, and reportedly fell for Nickelback front man, Chad, 38, last summer.

Kroeger was helping Lavigne record her fifth studio album and love between the two performers soon followed despite their decade difference in age.

Avril Lavigne recently said of Chad (by way of the Daily Mail), "I feel most beautiful when I'm around Chad. He makes me feel so beautiful, and I'm not one who really dresses up that much.

"I'm usually in the studio in regular, comfy clothes. I wear some pretty out-there designs. He likes my style - he thinks I'm cute."

Kroeger proposed to the punk-pop starlet 10 years his junior after they had been dating for just one month, revealing a 14 carat ring in the studio.

Lavigne explains: "I had been making this scrapbook of my time in the studio. I walk over and he had taken a photo of himself holding the ring box and put the Polaroid in my scrapbook. Because I had stickers everywhere he put in 'Will you marry me?' It was really romantic and kind of made sense."

In April, Lavigne and her fellow Canadian beau, Kroeger, stopped by the Ryan Seacrest show to discuss their nuptials.
