Will New York City have the best Fourth of July fireworks show in 2013?

As Independence Day approaches and Americans across the country prepare to attend fireworks show, the Christian Post ranks the best fireworks displays in the country.

The website ranks Macy's Fourth of July Fireworks 2013 in NYC as the number one show, saying the spectacle will bring in 3,000,000 viewers to watch the live 25-minute show entitled "It Begins With A Spark" this year, in addition to millions more who will tune in on television.

The annual spectacle is expected to light up the city sky Thursday night as 40,000 shells are loaded onto four barges along the Hudson River, the Associated Press reports.

A happy face with a wink exploding over NYC as part of Macy's Fourth of July Fireworks 2013 will also be a part of the nation's biggest display, the Huffington Post writes.

The barges are to be set up on the river between Manhattan's West 24th and 42nd streets, with fireworks shooting about 1,000 feet into the air, the Huffington Post also writes.

The Christian Post ranked Washington, D.C.'s fireworks' show second, Atlantic City's in third, Philadelphia's in fourth and Boston's in fifth.
