Chris Christie, the New Jersey governor, made a new summer playlist on Spotify just in time for the Fourth of July in the United States.

The playlist, titled "Down the Shore, Everything's All Right," is part of Christie's "Stronger Than the Storm" campaign to revitalize the Jersey Shore after Hurricane Sandy, which killed 37 people, flooded parts of the state, and at one point left more than 2 million people without power.

Three Bruce Springsteen songs feature on the soundtrack. The singer is a proud native of the state, and a favorite of Christie's, despite their publicly opposing political opinions. The playlist also includes The Black Eyed Peace, Bruno Mars, U2, Frank Sinatra and Talking Heads.

In other Christie news, the governor recently criticized President Obama at a town hall meeting, calling him a president who "can't figure out how to lead." 

"That's what happens when you have someone in the executive office who is more concerned about being right than he is concerned about getting things done," Christie said.

His comments dramatically cut ties between himself and Obama, when in the past conservative Republicans had accused Christie of cozying up to the president too much, The Washington Post reports.
