The toxicology report of Chris Kelly of Kris Kross revealed that he died of a drug overdose.

A medical office investigator revealed the news Monday from the toxicology report of Chris Kelly. It said the 34-year-old had a mixture of drugs in his system when he was pronounced dead on May 1, according to Betty Honey of the Fulton County Medical Examiner's office in Atlanta.

The toxicology report of Chris Kelly comes from one half of the performers of Kris Kross. The duo was best known for their hit 1992 song "Jump", which was No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 for eight weeks and certified double platinum as a single.

Nicknamed "Mack Daddy," was pronounced dead at a local hospital after paramedics found him unresponsive in his living room in Atlanta.

Honey told the Associated Press that she did not know which drugs were used in the overdose of Kelly.

A police report from the night of Kelly's death said his mother told investigators her son used cocaine and heroin the night before he died and had a history of drug abuse, according to the Associated Press.

Earlier this year, Kris Kross reunited to perform for an anniversary party of Jermaine Dupri's So So Def record label. Chris Kelly and Chris Smith were introduced to the mainstream music world by the said record label. At the time, they said they were planning a comeback.
