Aside from claims that Apple's newest mobile phone is coming this September, more iPhone 6 release rumors suggest that the cheaper handset device from Apple will be available in a variety of bright colors.

According to a report from International Business Times, Apple is going to release not one but two models for iPhone this year, and if this news is true, it will be the first in the history of the Cupertino-based tech firm.

Reports were claiming that besides launching the sixth-generation iPhone, named as iPhone 5S, there will also be an iPhone 6 release speculated to be called as 'iPhone Light'.

iPhone 6 release rumors revealed that the upcoming model will be sold in a variety of candy colors such as green, yellow and red. Reportedly, launching iPhone 6 in different color shades is Apple's effort to make it distinct from the main iPhone line (available only in black andwhite) as the former is allegedly going to be sold for a much cheaper price.

Iphone 6 release rumors intensified even more when several photos were posted from a French site, NowhereElse. The image seemed to be "rear shells of Apple's low-cost iPhone 6"  in yellow, red and green colors.

Though the rear shells depicted in the photo could be just clones for the current iPhone 5, specs like the microphone hole and the rounded edges are consistent with previous reports about iPhone 6.

Moreover, there were iPhone 6 release rumors revealing that that less expensive iOS mobile device will be made of plastic instead of the bulletproof glass casing utilized by current iPhone editions.

Iphone 6 release date is expected around late September, alongside the iPhone 5S. Also, the release of Apple's latest mobile devices is alleged to coincide with the launching of Apple's latest mobile operating system, the iOS 7.
