Fans of the Call of Duty game franchise should check out the latest Black Ops 2 DLC, now available for download!

Video Gamer reported that Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 DLC for Vengeance can now be downloaded from Xbox Live. The map pack can be purchased through Black Ops 2's in-game store and it can be acquired for free by Season Pass holders. Vengeance, the latest Black Ops 2 DLC is the game's 3rd map pack and includes four new multiplayer maps.

Cove, Detour, Rush and Uplinks are the newest multiplayer maps that players can explore after downloading Black Ops 2 DLC. In Cove, Call of Duty gamers will have to battle it out "amongst wreckage of a jet that crash-landed during a smuggling operation gone wrong" in a small and forgotten island in Indian Ocean.

The second multiplayer map from the latest Black Ops 2 DLC is Detour, where players are high above the waterway of East Coast, fighting to survive "amongst the scattered vehicles, exposed iron and collapsed pavement of a destroyed suspension bridge."

Rush provides a paintball course that serves as the full-combat arena for the players of Call of Duty: Black Ops 2, giving them opportunities and challenging scenarios to use the cover to their advantage.

Lastly, the 4th multiplayer map called Uplink is the reimagined map of Summit which is a fan-favorite map from the first installment of Call of Duty: Black Ops. In this map pack, players will have to crash deep "rain-soaked jungles of Myanmar, high atop a hi-tech mountain facility."

Aside from the multiplayer maps, Vengeance also comes with an exciting Zombies campaign called Buried, as well as a bonus weapon, another fan-favorite, the Zombies Ray Gun Mark II.

The Black Ops 2 DLC for PS3 and PC is expected to be released next month. Furthermore, another Black Ops 2 DLC will be arriving arrive any time between now and the release date of Call of Duty: Ghosts this November.
