Emma Stone Andrew Garfield Dating 2013: ‘The Amazing Spider-Man 2’ Actress Ditches Natural Hair Color And Goes Back To Red, Spotted With Co-Star Boyfriend

Emma Stone and Andrew Garfield started dating after the first Spider-Man film and have been dating ever since, and are reprising their roles for the sequel, "The Amazing Spider-Man 2." Following filming of the movie, Stone debuted her new red hair, and ditching her natural hair color.

Since reprising her role as Gwen Stacy in the film, Emma has been rocking blonde hair, her natural hair color, though she is known for her fiery red hairstyle.

Emma, 24, was spotted last week in New York City with Andrew, 29, and it looks like she's back to her trademark red hair.

Stone has spoken to BellaSugar in the past about how she enjoys being a redhead. She said she dyed her hair when auditioning for the film "Superbad," directed by Judd Apatow, Fashion&Style reports.

"I had been blond my whole life and I dyed it brown when I was 15. Then when I went to the camera test for 'Superbad,' Martha MacIsaac, who was the other girl in the movie, had brown hair," she said.

"Judd Apatow walked in and said, 'Make it red.' So they took me to a colorist and made my hair red. It's just kind of been red ever since, except, you know, when it was blond for 'The Amazing Spider-Man.' My mom's a redhead. I think maybe there's that, too; the coloring and the association with my mom being a redhead. I really liked that," she continued.

Stone recently discussed her transformation to the character of Gwen to Us Weekly.

"I'm by no means a supermodel or an unattainable looking person, so that element of Gwen was a bit different because she was such a beauty queen in the comic books," Emma said. "I'm more 'next door' than she might be. So that, we worked on."
