Samsung Galaxy Note 3 Release Date: Rumors Point To September 4 Announcement In Berlin, Two Days Before IFA Show

Rumors point to a September announcement for the highly rumored Samsung Galaxy Note 3, according to The News Tribe.

The largest Samsung online community, SamMobile reported that the Galaxy Note 3 could be launched at a press event in Berlin this September. The rumor was consistent with the news of the day of the event by another site, Android Geeks.

“Samsung will schedule the Mobile Unpacked event on September 4, two days before the IFA show officially kicks off,” Android Geeks reported.

The Mobile Unpacked event is the South Korean tech giant's version of Apple's mobile product announcements. A large crowd of tech journalists and developers are invited for a demo of newly released Samsung products.

Invitations for the event will likely be sent out sometime in August, which in itself would serve as another confirmation that Note 3 will be released.

According to Gotta Be Mobile, the September 4 announcement date is not the release date. What it implies is that the South Korean tech giant will take the veil down on the phablet and finally showcase the much-rumored device to the world.

After the announcement, some sort of release date maybe provided, which could be specific or vague to the Galaxy Note 3.

Earlier rumors say that the newest phablet is coming with IPS LCD display or OLED display with up to 5.7 inch screen, Qualcomm 800 SnapDragon CPU and LTE-A support. The Samsung Galaxy Note 3 may also have 3GB of RAM, according to reports.

U.S. carriers are expected to carry the phablet, but only AT&T has been reported to be meeting with Samsung for the possibility of providing the device. The tech company, which is going head to head with Apple on its recent product releases, has cut down wait times on U.S. companies, reported Gotta Be Mobile. This means that Samsung Galaxy Note 3 could arrive in the U.S. close to the soon-to-be disclosed release date.
