iPhone 5s, iPhone 6 Release Date: Rumored Budget Phone To Be Unveiled By Apple September 20, Foxconn Increasing Staff To Produce Device

The iPhone 5s and iPhone 6 release dates was not even hinted at the Apple’s WWDC 2013. But a recent rumor surfaced that the iPhone 5s, or the highly touted budget phone, which could also be called iPhone Lite, will be released on September 20.

According to Expert Reviews UK, Chinese manufacturer Foxconn is bolstering its staff to be able to manufacture the fifth iteration of the sought after phone from the Cupertino tech giant. There has also been leaks of an iPhone 5s prototype in an assembly line, implying the device is now ready for mass production.

“Our teams are hard at work at some amazing new hardware, software, and services that we can’t wait to introduce this fall and throughout 2014,” said Apple CEO Tim Cook in an earnings call.

That statement could be the only official hint from the company that the smartphone could arrive by fall of this year.

Expert Reviews noted that you could pick a random date on any autumn month and it could well be the release date of the iPhone 5s.

Many speculate on previous differences of a new iOS release and an iPhone release that it usually takes Apple 100 days to reveal the new smartphone following an announcement of a major iOS update. And since new hardware comes with a new operating system and Apple releases hardware on a Friday, it was how the September 20th launch was predicted.

Expert Reviews said, however, that in 2011, the iOS 5 was announced June 6th and wasn’t actually released until October.

Rumors say that Apple will generally use the same design for the iPhone 5s, with this phone serving as an update of the iPhone 5.

Consumers looking forward to a major iPhone update may have to wait until the iPhone 6 is released, which analysts and speculators say will not arrive until 2014.
