Britney Spears’ Twitter `Can’t Wait to Give a Taste of New Album;’ `Ooh la la’ Singer Promises Most Personal Songs Yet (Video)

Britney Spears took to Twitter to promise her fans her most personal album yet. The “Ooh la la” singer hasn’t revealed the title of her new album, but Britney Spears Twitter account promises excitement. Britney Spears new album comes on the heels of her latest song, “Ooh la la,” which was featured in the upcoming “The Smurfs 2” movie.

Britney Spears lyrics sometimes promise a good dance or a good time, but the “Baby One More Time” hit-maker can barely contain her excitement about her new direction. Britney Spears will “scream and shout” about it on Twitter.

Britney Spears’ Toxic tweet said “Really excited to give you a taste of my new album. Can’t wait to share what I’ve been working on” followed by “Going to be my most personal album ever :) (sic).”

Britney fans were so caught up in the excitement that they retweeted her announced more than 7,000 times.

One fan responded "I can't wait sis."

Another fan tweeted "Oh my god, Britney. I'm so excited. I can't even explain how much I can't wait for this album. Love you!"

Britney’s new album will be the follow-up to the 2011 “Femme Fatale.” The album’s hit songs, “Till The World Ends” and “Hold It Against Me” both hit the top spot on Billboard.

In June the pop princess told Ryan Seacrest, "I want to definitely take this album and have a new approach with it and make it a little different than anything I've ever done." She said the record will be produced by Will.i.am, who will be producing the new record. She said "Will has a lot of really interesting different tracks that I've listened to that are really cool that I haven't actually written on yet, but there's a lot of guitar. I think people will be surprised with this album. It's going to be really different."

Britney’s new album will be released by the end of 2013.

The former X Factor judge and mother of two said the “Ooh La La” song from the Smurfs 2 soundtrack is all about "feeling good" and that moment "when a guy makes you giddy." The “Womanizer” singer has been teasing fans with shots from the new video she filmed for the track.
