Nnamdi Asomugha marries Kerry Washington on June 24 in Hailey, Idaho, according to multiple reports.

After almost one year of publicly dating, current cornerback for the San Francisco 49ers Nnamdi Asomugha marries Kerry Washington, who was most recently in "Django Unchained."

The first report to break the news that Nnamdi Asomugha marries Kerry Washington was Terezowens.com, which is the first marriage for either one.

"Ok. Logging off! See u in a few weeks! SO excited 4 all u UK #Gladiators about 2 experience Season 2! Spread the word! July 4th @More4Tweets," Washington tweeted, which hinted at the honeymoon for the two.

Asomugha, 31 is a three-time Pro Bowler in the NFL, but after signing with the Philadelphia Eagles, he was a few down years. Now he is signed to the 49ers, who are coming off an appearance in the Super Bowl.

Like Washington, Asomugha has landed some acting roles in "The Game," "Friday Night Lights" and "Leverage."

Washington, 36, was once almost married, but it didn't quite happen.

"I was always that girl who was in long-term relationships, and I was never really single. I had always met guys in other ways and never really did the whole dating scene where you go out on multiple dates with different guys," Washington told PEOPLE in 2007 following her called-off engagement with former fiancé David Moscow.
