Britney Spears Battles Weight Loss For New 2013 Album [VIDEO]: 'Ooh La La' Singer Ignites Twitter With Scintillating Tweets

Britney Spears may be off "The X Factor," but she's gearing up for a busy 2013, including her new single "Ooh La La," the "most personal album ever," and she's doing it all by battling her glutes.

According to her trainer Tony Martinez, Britney has upped her exercises with 20 to 40 minutes of cardio and core exercises, four times a week.

"I asked her if she played any sports when she was younger, and she's like, 'I did basketball, softball, and I was gymnast," said Martinez to E! News. "I was like, 'Perfect.'"

"[It's] a very tough workout involving a punishing series of weight-training exercises mixed with spurts of high-interval cardio."

The "sassy" diva's hard work has definitely paid off, with recent photos showing off her clearly slimmer frame.

Britney Spears recently took to Twitter to excite fans with some news on her upcoming album, currently slated for 2013.

"I want to definitely take this album and have a new approach with it and make it a little different than anything I've ever done," said Spear to during a Ryan Seacrest interview, according to Inquisitr.

"People will be surprised with this album. It will be really different. I think the kids will appreciate it, but this music will have more of a cool approach to it."

Britney is set to appear in the music video for her single, "Ooh La La," which is accompanying "The Smurfs 2" movie release. Only time will tell if "Ooh La La" will be on her new album.

With effective weight loss training and a trailblazing career, Britney Spears will no doubt reach new heights with her new album in 2013.
