Chris Rock talks about Grown Ups 2 starring himself and Adam Sandler in an interview with GMA Online Magazine. Rock says that there is jealous competition amongst the comedians on the Grown Ups 2set.

But Chris Rock talks positively about his Grown Ups 2 comedic costars. "It's a playful competition," Rock shares. "I wanted to be funnier than Spade, Spade wants to be funnier than Kevin, and Kevin wants to be funnier than Adam. You just can't help it, if you're a comedian. But the positive side is that I think we really do make each other funnier."

The competition comes as no surprise no us with all of this comedian power on one set. Rock, Sandler, James, and Spade are four of the funniest and most successful comics in the biz.

The new comedy Grown Ups 2 stars Adam Sandler, Kevin James, Chris Rock, David Spade, Salma Hayek, Maya Rudolph, Maria Bello, and Nick Swardson. It's directed by Dennis Dugan and produced by Sandler and Jack Giarraputo.

"It was just exciting to bring everybody back together," Dugan says. "All the characters and relationships were so rich and funny, we knew there were lots more stories to be told. It's like visiting old friends."

This is Adam Sandler's first sequel movie. Grown Ups was his most successful movie to date earning $260 million worldwide.

The sequel plot is as follows:

 Three years after the events of Grown Ups, Lenny Feder has relocated his family back to the small town where he and his friends grew up. This time around, the grown ups are the ones learning lessons from their kids on a day notoriously full of surprises, the last day of school.

The movie hits the theaters in the US on July 12, 2013.
