Nokia Lumia 925 Release Date: T-Mobile Set To Release The Smartphone On July 10 Says Rumors, FCC Filings

Nokia Lumia 925 will be released by T-Mobile in the U.S.A this July 10. Rumors say that an event America’s largest carrier is holding on that date will be the launch date of the smartphone.

“Our boldest move yet,” was the teasing message on the invitation, reported the International Business Times. July 17 was the reported date of when the Nokia Lumia 925 will be available in stores.

In a recent FCC filing, a Nokia device filed with the codename RM-892, which could be the Nokia Lumia 925 for T-Mobile. The FCC filing indicates that the official launch of the smartphone on the U.S. carrier is happening soon and the reports appear to be valid, according to the Business Times.

Although the FCC filing did not directly identify the device to be the Lumia 925, the smartphone’s back device looks familiar, and tests were conducted with the GSM 850/1990 frequencies., which would effectively fit with the T-Mobile network.

The Nokia Lumia 925 showcases a 4.5-inch AMOLED screen display with 1280x768p resolution, a 1.5GHz dual-core Snapdragon processor, 1GB of RAM, 16GB of internal storage capacity and 2000mAh battery, describes the Business Times.

The smartphone from the Finnish manufacturer who used to dominate the mobile market, has an 8.7MP camera with remarkable PureView technology, Optical Image Stabilization (OIS), Bluetooth and NFC technology.

The U.S. carrier has already created a sign-up page for the Nokia Lumia 925 for interested subscribers to register. They would receive notification when the device is up for either purchase or pre-order.

The release of the Nokia Lumia 925 is not the only latest smartphone model that is slated to be launched by T-Mobile. The Sony Xperia Z could also have a July release date by T-Mobile.
