Shakira wins legal battle against her and is now suing her ex-boyfriend Antonio de La Rua for mismanaging and illegally spending assets that belonged to the singer's company.

The Colombian singer was in a lawsuit-battle over a claim from her ex-boyfriend that he should have access to one of Shakira's accounts because it holds most of the assets from their business partnership, according to the Associated Press. He said he and Shakira established an oral agreement to work professionally following their romantic split in 2011, according to the court documents. It wasn't enough as Shakira wins legal battle bettwen her and her ex-boyfriend.

The judge said there was not enough evidence that the two agreed to a professional relationship after their breakup.

If he would have won, he could have won up to $100 million from Shakira.

A key element brought up by Shakira's defense was a prenuptial agreement signed by the couple years ago, where the parties manifested their desire to preserve the independent administration of their estates, according to Latinos Post.

The two dated for 10 years, but right now Shakira has a boyfriend and has a child with footballer Gerard Pique.
