The world is under a constant barrage of fallout details about Katy Perry’s divorce from Russell Brand and there are always breakup and reconciliation updates on Katy Perry’s relationship with blues guitarist and singer John Mayer. Those explosions were the friendly fire of July 4 bombs bursting in air as the "Fireworks" spent a romantic Fourth of July holiday weekend together in the Hamptons. Perry was spotted in East Hampton earlier this week walking along with her bike.

A source told Life & Style magazine that Perry has laid down the law with her bad-boy squeeze. She must have learned her lessons from the admitted sex addict Russell Brand because Katy has commanded Mayer to dump his old girlfriends and stop texting them. The insider also said "Katy wants more dinners and date nights, and for him to be more romantic with her."

Perry is still in love with the smirking blues guitarist who has been featured in too many songs by other singers. Speaking to Vogue Magazine, the owner of Kitty Purry admitted she’s still "madly in love" with Mayer, sayinh. "All I can say about that relationship is that he's got a beautiful mind. Beautiful mind, tortured soul. I do have to figure out why I am attracted to these broken birds." Katy Perry even proposed John Mayer for induction into the Illuminati, taking him to President Obama’s inauguration ceremonies in Washington on January 21, 2013.
