Miley Cyrus Weight Loss: ‘We Can’t Stop’ Singer On A Diet And Only 98 Pounds?

Miley Cyrus has lost a lot of weight following her makeover. Is the "We Can't Stop" singer taking her weight loss too far?

The 20-year-old "We Can't Stop" singer began losing weight last year, around the time when she drastically changed her image, chopped off most her hair, and dyed it blonde, The Belfast Telegraph reports.

"Her diet and exercise regime has become like a religion - it's what's getting her through one of the more stressful times of her life," an insider told Heat magazine.

"But she can't carry on this way. People are scared she'll make herself ill," the insider added.

The Belfast Telegraph reports that Miley only eats raw vegetables and fruit and egg-white omelettes, as well as exercises and trains two hours a day at the gym and runs five miles three times a week. In recent pictures of Miley, she does look thin, but it could be caused by her active lifestyle.

In April 2012, Miley confronted rumors that she was suffering from an eating disorder, saying they were completely untrue, The Belfast Telegraph reports. Miley explained that her diet had changed due to her glucose and lactose intolerance, which caused her weight loss.

Last October the star was thought to weigh around 130lbs, but she is now closer to 98lbs, according to The Belfast Telegraph.

But other sources claim that Miley's eating habits are dangerous for the young pop star.

"She's barely eating. It's really unhealthy. She's dealing with so much stress right now," an insider told Life & Style.

According to the magazine, Miley has a lot on her plate right now that could cause stress. Her on and off relationship with fiancé Liam Hemsworth, promoting her new single, and the divorce of her parents Billy Ray and Tish Cyrus, could all be factors to her weight loss.
