Big Brother Racist Houseguest Exposed- Aaryn Gries Wins Aryan Nation Applause, Loses Modeling Contract

Big Brother aired some racist, homophobic comments from Aaryn Gries-and they're catching a lot of flack for it. Still, CBS is refusing to kick Aaryn Gries off or edit the comments.

Big Brother contestant Aaryn Gries said some pretty despicable things about fellow contestants on the 24-hour live feeds on CBS.com and in an episode.

Producers aired a lovely montage of Gries, a former model, spewing some lovely homophobic and/ or racist sentiments about fellow contestants. Somehow a montage of the worst comments is excusable? Um...ok.

During the episode, Aaryn Gries drops a bevy of  racist comments about fellow contestant Helen Kim, saying she should "go make rice," and "I probably look like a squinty Asian right now."

Later in the episode, Aaryn Gries parodies Asian nail salon workers, saying, "Why you no have boyfriend? It's because you don't want long nail!"

Ha ha..ha? Gries also said of  gay housemate Andy Herren that "no one's going to vote for whoever that queer puts up".

The CBS reality hit's 15th season is quickly becoming one of the series' most talked-about ever. Because who else has talked about Big Brother since 2005?

Still, Aaryn Gries didn't make her comments in a Big Brother bubble-but her housemates were afraid to say much.

Judd Daughtery said of Gries, "Does she know we're on TV and you shouldn't say stuff like that?"

This kinda suggests that  not being on TV would make the racist Big Brother commetns OK...but at least something was said.

Howard Overby, an African-American contestant, said of the racist comments "Even when these comments are made in fun, they're still hurtful and are disrespectful," but said he thought addressing them would hurt his chances to win. Which is...well, hurtful.

After fans expressed outrage, CBS released a statement saying their remarks were "not condoned" by the network. Great.

"Big Brother is a reality show about watching a group of people who have no privacy 24/7 -- and seeing every moment of their lives," the statement says. "At times, the houseguests reveal prejudices and other beliefs that we do not condone. We certainly find the statements made by several of the houseguests on the live Internet feed to be offensive. Any views or opinions expressed in personal commentary by a houseguest appearing on Big Brother, either on any live feed from the House or during the broadcast, are those of the individual(s) speaking and do not represent the views or opinions of CBS or the producers of the program."

In news that actually has bearing in the real world, Gries' agency is dropping her. They said that "Aaryn, season 15 cast member of Big Brother, revealed prejudices and other beliefs that we do not condone," a statement said. "Upon much consideration, we have decided to release Aaryn from her contract with Zephyr Talent."

Another houseguest, GinaMarie Zimmerman, was also already fired from her day job for saying that saying African-American contestant Candice Stewart was on the dark side "because she's already dark."

Ugh. Just....ugh.
