Kate Middleton And Prince William Baby Bump News: Royal Child Won’t Move To Kensington Palace Until September, Then Will Travel To Australia And New Zealand In 2014

Kate Middleton and Prince William wait for the baby to arrive as the due date approaches this weekend. But what will their plans be for the royal child once he or she is born?

Once the child is born, William will take two weeks off from his Royal Air Force duties for paternity leave. Kate and the baby will travel between London and her parents' home in Berkshire, England.

In September, the whole family will then move into Kensington Palace's Apartment 1A. Right now, Kate is still working on redecorating and renovating the nursery, according to Us Weekly.

"She's still busy, making sure she's done as much as possible for the new house before the baby is born," an insider told the magazine. "Once the baby is here, she won't have time for anything else!"

According to Us Weekly, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge will hit the road on a spring 2014 royal baby tour with the newest addition to their family.

"The trip is planned for Australia and New Zealand," an insider told Us Weekly.

The trip will mirror a similar journey taken by the late Princess Diana, when she travelled with 9-month-old Prince William to Australia with Prince Charles in 1983.

The official announcement of the birth of the royal baby will be made via a framed statement on a wood and gold easel placed behind the gates of Buckingham Palace.
