With ABC's "Once Upon A Time" set to return for season three this fall, a new fairytale character may be introduced: Tinker Bell.

Although not entirely confirmed, TV Line's Michael Ausiello believes the new character Violet fits the mischievous fairy lore.

"Vi is a mischievous twenty-something whose penchant for troublemaking belies the heart of a true survivor," teased Ausiello recently.

"Interesting side note, especially for Hook if she is Tinkerbell: She never lets a slight go unpunished!"

While Tinkerbell's introduction would definitely be affiliated with that of Peter Pan, is it possible that friction with Hook may lead to a new romantic entanglement?

"The thing I liked about Captain Hook in the finale is, he started to look back on his life and was like, 'Maybe I've wasted it?' So here you've got a guy that wants a new chance," says Eddy Kitsis during an interview with The Huffington Post.

"And I think being surrounded by all these characters last year, and even seeing his nemesis happy with someone else made him realize that, 'Maybe after all these 100 years, I need to get over Milah.' So who knows? They're on the ship together and Emma thinks Neal's dead..."

Well, yes, Emma thinks Neal is dead, but what star-crossed lovers don't go through some turbulence in the middle?

Season three may draw Emma and Hook closer together, but Tinker Bell would be a great complication to the all thing.
