Toddler Bids On Car On Ebay[VIDEO REPORT] Baby Wins An Austin Healey Sprite Using Dad's Smartphone[PHOTOS]

A toddler bids on a car on Ebay while playing with her dad's smartphone!  The 14 month old in Portland, Oregon bids on a classic Austin Healey Sprite by accident last month. And her father decided to keep the run down car and give it to her daughter when she grows up.

The toddler was clicking around the smartphone and opened up Ebay. The little girl kept clicking and made a bid on a car. Her father found out about the car purchase when he received an email from eBay congratulating him on the winning $225 bid.

"She decided to open the eBay app, and started clicking around and one thing led to another and we own a car," father Paul Stoute told KOIN News.

The couple decided to keep the car and plans to restore it for Sorella's high school graduation or 16th birthday. Some Austin Healeys can sell for over $14,000.

'I've done a lot of body work in the past, like bondo and stuff like that,' he said. 'But this is another realm altogether.'

His wife, Christiana, told Fox 12: 'It comes with two engines. They're both in the back seat.'

Since the toddler's bid, her parents have added security codes and other locks on their phones.

'I'm just glad she didn't buy the $38,000 Porsche I was looking at,' Mr Stoute joked.
