Grand Theft Auto 5 Release Date: PC Version In Stores By End Of 2013? Rockstar Leeds Job Listing Hints At End-Of-Year Sale

Computer gamers are clamoring after Rockstar released a trailer of Grand Theft Auto 5 and posted a job listing hinting at an end-of-year PC release.

"Rockstar Leeds are currently looking for a talented graphics programmer to help bring our latest titles to the PC platform. Working together with the other Rockstar studios, you will be responsible for maintaining the studio's uncompromising quality bar, delivering the highest quality PC experience possible," the job listing read.

Although Rockstar usually releases PC versions of Grand Theft Auto games months after its Playstation and Xbox versions, the company has only given a September 17 release date for current consoles.

Rockstar Games is also eying the launch of next-generation console Playstation 4 for the release date of Grand Theft Auto 5, according to The News Tribe, which could be as soon as the rumored November 13 release date of the PS4.

Media Markt and Bol.com, two retailers based in Europe, claim the Playstation 4 will be launched on November 13, two weeks before Microsoft is expected to release its Xbox One console, the States Chronicles reports.

Although both Microsoft and Sony have not officially released the date of their respective next-generation consoles and have only alluded to the PS4 and Xbox One being released in November, many say the Playstation 4 will be available before its competing console.

Amazon has been listing an Xbox One release date of November 27 for a number of days, but Microsoft insists the listing - which remains active - is merely a placeholder, Computer and Video Games reports.
