Ghana will face off against Iraq in the third-place match of the FIFA U-20 World Cup 2013 on Saturday, ending the ongoing tournament in Turkey.

The Black Stars of Ghana reached a third-place match slot after losing to France 2-1 in the semi-finals, but were able to defeat Chile 4-3 in the quarter-finals and Portugal 3-2 in the round of 16.

The Lions of Mesopotamia, representing Iraq, reached their third-place match ticket after losing to Uruguay in penalties, but were able to defeat South Korea in penalties during the quarter-finals and beating Paraguay 1-0 in the round of 16.

The match will be played on Saturday afternoon in Istanbul before the final match between Uruguay and France in the same stadium.

Although this is Iraq's best-ever performance in the history of U-20 tournaments, the Middle Eastern team is expected to give Ghana, known for its stellar performance at the 2009 championship in Egypt, a strong challenge.

Official line-ups from both teams have not been announced.
