The Bethenny Frankel divorce battle is getting worse. Bethenny and Jason Hoppy are involved in a contentious battle, and Frankle reportedly called her ex "trash" in front of their three-year-old daughter.

Sources say that the Skinnygirl mogul and reality TV star got in an epic fight with Hoppy after the two failed to reach a settlement in court.

Frankel called ex Jason Hoppy "trash" in front of their 3-year-old daughter, Bryn.

"Jason has always been very, very careful to never say anything negative about Bethenny in front of Bryn," a supposed source said. But the source didn't think Bethenny Frankell "plays by the same rules."

The Bethenny Frankell divorce battle has been contentious-particularly regarding custody and division of property.

Jason Hoppy reportedly said during a recent argument that Bryn will want nothing to do with her mother when she's an adult because of how nasty the current divorce and custody battle is.  Ouch-that's a low blow.

Another source said,

"Bethenny just can't believe Jason isn't granting her sole custody of Bryn," but that  "It absolutely enrages Jason that Bethenny is trying to cut him out of their little girl's life. Jason told Bethenny she was going to have a very hard time explaining her actions to Bryn when she is old enough to grasp what happened when her parents divorced."

The source added, "Jason also said that Bryn wasn't going to want anything to do with her mother when she gets older. Bethenny just flew off the handle when Jason said that because Bryn is her entire world. What is truly sad is that both parents love Bryn so much, and she will be the one ultimately harmed by her parents actions."

A new issue has been that Hoppy won't allow Bryn to appear on her mom's upcoming talk show.

Frankel and Hoppy announced their split in December; they were married for almost three years.

During a recent interview, Frankel called her marriage "a mistake" and said she "made the wrong choice".

Jill Zarin, however, Frankel's ex-bestie, badmouthed her to press.

"Everything my mother Gloria said was true," Zarin said. "My mother told Bethenny she was never going to be happy going down that road. Jason [Hoppy] knew exactly what he was getting himself into. I don't have any sympathy for him. He bought it lock, stock and barrel. She was auditioning him for the role of a lifetime. And as predicted, she ate him up and spit him out, that's what Bethenny does. She eats them up and spits them out."
