Android 4.3 Jelly Bean Release: Latest Mobile OS Update From Google Rolls Out To Nexus 4, Nexus 7 and Nexus 10

Some Nexus users were able to receive Android 4.3 Jelly Bean yesterday.

Google's press event dubbed as "Breakfast with Sundar Pichai" was successfully held yesterday and as expected it revealed several details about the internet giant's upcoming product including Android 4.3 Jelly Bean release date

The highly-anticipated major update, the Android 4.3 Jelly Bean, was finally released on July 24, as it started to arrive on various Android devices like the Nexus models. iDigital Times reported that Android 4.3 Jelly Bean rolled out on July 24 for devices like Nexus 4, Nexus 7 and Nexus 10.

Furthermore, owners of the Google Play Edition of HTC One and Samsung Galaxy S4 can expect the arrival of the official firmware soon, as it was reported that Android 4.3 Jelly Bean release date for those flagship devices is in August or September.

It was also confirmed that the Nexus 7 2 will run Android 4.3 Jelly Bean.

Some of the highly notable features and improvements made for Android 4.3 Jelly Bean are the multi-user restricted profiles that limit access to a specified content, which is also useful for parental controls. Android 4.3 Jelly Bean also comes with a Bluetooth Low-Energy support which enables the device to easily pair with a fitness sensor (this is great news for the fitness buffs out there!).

There are also remarkable changes made to Notification features. For instance, the Notification access provides user the "ability to access and interact with the stream of status bar notifications as they are posted in real time." BostInno shared citing Android Blogspot, "The user can then display them in any way they so choose, including the ability to rout them to nearby Bluetooth devices, and while updating and dismissing notifications as needed."
