Kate Middleton Post-Baby Body Criticized Already: Media Scrutiny After Royal Birth Garners Protest

Kate Middleton gave birth to the royal baby a day ago...and already, the media is scrutinizing her post-pregnancy body.

Now that the Duchess of Windsor and Prince William have had Prince George Alexander Louis of Cambridge, obviously Middleton should lose all the baby weight. Immediately.

OK Magazine said, "The question on everyone's lips is not just the name, sex or weight of the baby, but also how Kate plans to return to her pre-pregnancy glory."

They also provided a helpful six-page weight loss plan. Thanks.

Because obviously, after bringing another human being into the world, the first thing on any woman's mind should be getting thin immediately, not nurturing or nourishing the child (or herself).

British TV presenter Katy Hill objected and is starting a Twitter campaign using the hashtag #DontBuyOK to urge people to boycott the magazine.

Followers agree. One wrote, Give Kate a break. @OK_magazine she has just given birth and needs to recover, what a bad example #dontbuyok #ever."

Kate posed for photos within 24 hours after giving birth with hair that was blown out thanks to a visit to the hospital room from her private hairdresser. Amanda Cook Tucker arrived at the Lindo Wing of St. Mary's Hospital carrying a suitcase full of styling tools

The Internet buzzed with speculation about her appearance, commenting, in particular, on her post-baby bump.

Princess Diana secretly struggled with bulimia throughout her marriage and pregnancies-the media scrutiny Royal moms face is particularly intense, but sadly, nothing new.

During a 1993 speech on eating disorders, Diana said, "I have it, on very good authority, that the quest for perfection our society demands can leave the individual gasping for breath at every turn."
