iPhone 6 Release Date: Low-Cost Apple iOS Handset Arriving In August Or On September 27; AT&T Offers Early Upgrades To Clear iPhone 5 Inventory

More and more signs now point out to an imminent iPhone 6 release date.

Although there is no official announcement yet regarding iPhone 6 release date, both the tech analysts and Apple fans are already expectant of the looming launch of the cheaper and next-generation Apple iOS smartphone. But fans and enthusiast's hunger and excitement for new information intensifies even more when new reports or any kind of rumor about 'iPhone Light' or iPhone 6 release date came up online.

Reportedly, AT&T, a popular network in the US, is now offering a huge inventory sale and early smart phone upgrades, all in favor of clearing all the remaining iPhone 5 inventories. IPhone 5 is currently offered for as low as $199 even if the device was on years old. This makes it possible then for an August release of iPhone 6.

Furthermore, one of the most recent posts that surfaced suggested that it is possible for the iPhone 6 to arrive in September. A post from Spy Ghana said that after doing some math, their team believes that the iPhone 6 release date is already fixed for September 27, which is 100 days after iOS 6 was made available for Apple mobile users.

According to Christian Post, if Apple will follow the same formula, iOS 7 will most likely be released on September 18, and of course, if there is a major software update, some impressive hardware should also go with it.

Since Apple is also planning to release a high-end handset device, which is unofficially dubbed as iPhone 5S, experts are thinking that the said device will be released on September 20, exactly two days after iOS 7 launching. And then, to prevent crowds and long lines at Apple stores, the iPhone 6 would arrive a week later, on Friday, September 27.

Rumored iPhone 6 specs feature a Retina Display, an IGZO screen display, an A7 Quad core chip processor. iPhone 6 will also offer 16GB, 32GB, 64 GB and 128 GB. Reportedly, the home button of the iPhone 6 will be ditched and will be replaced by a touchpad.
