As "Grey's Anatomy" enters season 10, its illustrious cast have been quite active, both on-screen and off.

Regarding "Grey's Anatomy" season 10, writer and producer Dan Bucatinsky says the season premiere will dive right into the "aftermath" of Meredith's birth.

"She had a rough birth. We're going to see them in the hospital together and juggling their roles in a major way," says Bucatinsky to TVLine.

"Also, we're going to watch these new interns become part of the fabric of the hospital. That's going to be part of what's fun and fresh about this season. We're going to get to know them better."

But what about the veteran cast members?

But in a sudden twist of events, after "Grey's Anatomy" executive producer introduced her on Twitter, the account has been suspended less than 24 hours later!

Drama, thy name is "Grey's Anatomy."

In other "Grey's Anatomy" season 10 cast news, Patrick Dempsey recently gave an interview regarding racing and his acting job, and the actor seems less than enthused about season10.

On his upcoming four-part series about car racing premiering August 28 on Velocity, Dempsey says he's "I've loved [racing] since I was a kid. You're really testing yourself. You're going into your own fears and anxieties, and you have to test yourself physically and mentally."

But what about playing Derek Shepherd on "Grey's Anatomy" season 10?

"I'm not necessarily bored with the show, [and I'm] very grateful that I have a show that's been on for 10 years," says the actor according to Times-Call.

But for Dempsey, acting is "a trade."

"I'm not the creator. I'm not the writer... When you're on a show that's been on for, we're coming up to 200 episodes, it's about surviving. And you find ways to turn yourself on with the material that you're given. But it's like being in a band. You have a specific note that you play, and that's what you do. So you just try to play that as well as you can."
