Minecon 2013 Tickets Released: First Batch Of 2500 Passes Already Sold Out; Next Batches Coming In August 2 & 3

Mojang earlier released the first batch of Minecon 2013 tickets, and apparently, after a few hours, it has sold out already.

According to Mojang, the indie game developer of MInecraft, there will be three batches of Minecon 2013 tickets to be released, the first one made available yesterday, July 31, 7 PM ET. However, according to its page from Eventbrite, all the 2500 passes from the first batch of the Minecon 2013 tickets were already purchased.

So for those who unfortunately were not able to get their Minecon 2013 tickets with the first release, there is still a chance for you to avail them. Just make sure to save the schedule for the release of the second and third batches of Minecon 2013 tickets. Each batch will sell 2,500 tickets.

The schedule of the release of tickets is provided below:

Ticket Batch 1 - Wednesday July 31 @ 4pm PDT / 7pm EDT
Ticket Batch 2 - Friday August 2nd @ 7am PDT / 10am EDT
Ticket Batch 3 - Saturday August 3rd @ 12pm PDT / 3pm EDT

Mojang decided to split up the Minecon 2013 ticket sales "In an effort to be fair to people who have jobs or school and those with different schedules we're releasing tickets in 3 batches to cover different days and times."

The game studio also said that interested attendees to Minecon 2013 can purchase not more than 6 tickets at once.

Also, Mojang is also providing hotel and accommodation packages at various locations available at special Minecon rates. The post from Mojang reads, "When you book your tickets you can also book hotels at our special MINECON rates. We have a variety of hotels available with different prices and different distances from the Convention Center."

Minecon 2013 will be held in Orlando, Florida, specifically at Orange County Convention Center from November 2-3.
