Amanda Seyfried has had a tough week promoting her new movie "Lovelace." From one embarrassing moment to the next, Amanda shows that it's not easy being a movie star.

The 27-year-old actress wobbled on her high heels in front of a large crowd of fans who had come out to see Amanda arrive for her appearance on The Late Show with David Letterman in New York, The Daily Mail reports. Her mouth opened in shock as she was unable to hide her pain and grimace, before putting on a tough face and continuing to enter the building for the taping of the talk show.

The "Lovelace" star stopped to greet fans outside the building and autographed posters and magazines. But Seyfried became flustered by the throng bombarding her, one of whom got a rise out of the actress after making an inapprorpriate comment, The Los Angeles reports.

"We're not friends anymore," she shouted over the sound of the crowd.

After the stumble in her heels, Seyfried was able to collect herself and gave onlookers a thumbs-up to assure everyone she was going to be fine.

Though Seyfried is portraying iconic "Deep Throat" porn star Linda Lovelace in the upcoming biopic, the actress looked prim and proper for her appearance. She wore a Balmain checkered, pale pink top and matching ruffled skirt paired with sky-high Rupert Sanderson pumps, according to the Daily Mail.

Perhaps her gaffe was caused by her jitters. The Los Angeles Times reports that Seyfried shared a frightened photo of herself with Letterman doing his monologue on TV in the background. 

"Late Show nerves. #help," she wrote on Instagram.

Earlier this week, at the New York premiere of "Lovelace," Seyfried accidentally smeared blue marker onto her forehead as she was signing autographs. She quickly turned to her publicist for help getting it off, who then licked her thumb and wiped the smear across her client's face.
