Moto X Release Date And Specs Revealed [OFFICIAL]: Highly Customizable Motorola Flagship Smartphone With 500 Possible Variants Arriving This August

All the Moto X release date and specs rumors were put to an end last Thursday when the upcoming Android smartphone from Motorola Mobility was officially unveiled.

The earliest possible Moto X release date is by late August, and according to the event that was hosted by Motorola yesterday, August 1, the latest device will be sold by all the major network carriers in the US.

During the 3PM (ET) event for the mobile device's official launch, Motorola did not only announced Moto X release date but it also showed off the amazing features that comes with the latest flagship device of Google's Motorola.

One of the most remarkable Moto X specs has something to do with the customization options. According to BostInno, there are over 500 different variants that users can opt for when purchasing Moto X.

For one, the Kevlar backplate will be available in "18 different colors in a bright and wide spectrum of colors." The bezel is also extremely thin, which makes its seems that the 4.7-inch AMOLED 720p display is directly connected with the synthetic back cover.
Furthermore, Moto X is very light with a weight of 130 grams. The dimensions for Google's device are 129.3mm X 65.3 mm.

Moto X is also equipped with a very impressive 2200mAh battery that allows for up to 13 hours of talk time or 24 hours mixed usage. Rear camera is sporting a 10MP CLEAR PIXEL lens with 1080p video and LED flash. Meanwhile, the front-facing camera has 2 MP with 1080p HD video cam as well.

Storage capacity of Moto X are limited only to 16GB ($199) and 32 GB ($249), with 2GB of RAM. Of course, Wi-fi, Bluetooth and 4G LTE connectivity are also included in the list of Moto X specs.

Another interesting feature of Moto X is its voice control which provides convenience of usage. For instance, users of Moto X can easily use Google's voice recognition app, Okay Google Now to experience better user friendly functionality and navigation.

UberGizmo described Moto X with a conclusion that reads, "The Moto X is a mass-market smartphone that aims to improve the real-world actions that users perform: keeping an eye on time and notifications, searching for information, directions, placing calls, taking photos."
