Fallout 4 Release Date Rumors: Bethesda Merchandise Update Teases Possible Gamescom Appearance Despite Rumored 2015 Release

Fallout 4 may be mired in release date rumors and a few frustrated Bethesda fans, but a recent update in merchandise signals the game might start making its way to gaming conventions, including Gamescon.

As noted by Sidhtech, Bethesda is now offering new merchandise, including a hoodie with the logo of the Tunnel Snakes, and new T-shirts with the Vault Boy face on it.

With new merchandise that obviously ties into the Fallout 4 universe, it is curious that Bethesda is introducing them during a time where Fallout 4 is seemingly still years away.

The most logical explanation would be convention merchandise, and Gamescom is the next big gaming convention coming up.

So, if you happen to stop by Gamescom August 21 to 25, be sure to take a look to see if any new Fallout 4 merchandise, or perhaps even updates, can be spotted.

iDigital Times reported that Fallout 4 PS4 and Xbox One release date is expected to happen around the third quarter of 2015.

The post-apolcalyptic role-playing game will be available to various gaming platforms like the current consoles such as Xbox 360 and Sony PS3. Fallout 4 will also have PS4 and Xbox One versions.
