Karen Elson and Jack White’s divorce party is no celebration. The couple’s divorce began amicably. Karen Elson and Jack Whitey even threw a party to celebrate like they would a wedding. But Karen Elson, “The Ghost Who Walks” singer got a restraining order on Jack White, the former guitarist of The White Stripes.

Karen Elson claims Jack White has been harassing her and was granted a restraining order on July 22. According to the Nashville City Paper, Karen Elson’s restraining order affidavit states "Wife fears for her and the children's safety as a result of this harassment" after Jack White allegedly contacted KIaren Elson "in an inappropriate and aggressive manner."

Karen Elson’s restraining order claimed that Jack White has a "violent temper and a tendency of sending harassing emails and text messages." The affidavit alleged that Jack White made derogatory statements about British model and singer Karen Elson to their business manager. The order read "This was done to harass and embarrass wife. This pattern of husband's bullying wife into submission was a contributing factor in the demise of their marriage."

According to the restraining order, Jack White has been barred from "any contact with wife whatsoever except as it relates to parenting time with the parties' minor children."

Karen Elson and Jack White were married in June 2005 and announced their divorce in 2011. The couple have two children together, daughter Scarlett, 7, and son Henry, who is almost 6. When White andElson split they threw a divorce party to “honor” their six year marriage, saying "We feel so fortunate for the time we have shared and the time we will continue to spend both separately and together watching our children grow."

The divorce has yet to be finalized.
