As we enter August, it is only a handful of weeks before Psy makes his highly anticipated comeback with his seventh studio album and follow up to Psy 6.

The global phenomenon is fresh off the one-year anniversary of his world-famous "Gangnam Style" and just about four months after his sophomore single "Gentleman," expectations are high.

On July 29, Psy tweeted an update on how the album is progressing.

"Already done with 3 songs and they are kinda nice! #PSYonTheALBUM," he wrote.

Seems like things are on schedule for the expected September release date.

A short while later Psy provided a helpful tip for his fans across the globe saying, "Use flitto.com to read my tweets in your own language!"

And this weekend also signified the anniversary of a very pivotal moment in Psy's career.

As Lee Kyu Chang, the man credited with bringing Psy to America, pointed out in his tweet on August 3, "One year ago... on this day... I met @psy_oppa to tell him we should go to Los Angeles to meet @scooterbraun #History."

Psy retweeted the message that signified the day, one year ago, that "Gangnam Style" officially went global.
