As "The Legend of Korra" Book 2 prepares to launch this September, a new sneak peek still of Bolin and Asami seem to indicate an emotional journey for both characters.

Uploaded by "The Legend of Korra" co-creators Bryan Konietzko and Michael DiMartino, the photo shows Asami and Bolin spending time together, though they appear rather forlorn and perhaps, pining after their former crushes?

"Bolin with a bad base of the feels..." writes Konietzko to caption the photo.

As many fans of "The Legend of Korra" know, Bolin once pursued Korra in a romantic fashion, much like Asami with Mako. Sadly for Asami and Bolin, Korra and Mako became the "it" couple and seems to be doing quite well in Book 2.

After announcing the Book 2 premiere date (or rather, month), "The Legend of Korra" uploaded a sneak peek video of the Book 2 premiere, "Rebel Spirit."

In the sneak peek, Bolin is struggling to lead a new Fire Ferrets team without Mako and Korra, and Asami is trying to rebuild Future Industries with a tainted reputation.

All in all, it seems Bolin and Asami have a not so great start in Book 2.

At the same time, the sneak peek still does lead some to question one thing: Should Bolin and Asami get together?

With Korra and Mako busy with police work and Avatar duties, it seems like "The Legend of Korra" has some underdogs to serve, and everyone would love for Bolin and Asami to find their own happiness.
