‘Fifty Shades Of Grey’ Movie Cast: Did Christian Grey Contender Jessie Pavelka Meet With Author EL James In LA To Discuss Role?

"Fifty Shades of Grey" is getting closer to forming a cast, as Universal Pictures released an open casting call yesterday. Now, rumors are suggesting that E.L. James, the author of "Fifty Shades of Grey," met with Jessie Pavelka to discuss the role of Christian Grey.

According to Mstarz, E.L. James flew out to Los Angeles on "business" on July 30. She tweeted: "At LAX... looking forward to going home and seeing @noghar."

On the same day, Mstarz reports that Pavelka tweeted: "Leaving LA. A productive and fun trip. I shall see you again soon."

So did the actor and the author meet? We might just have to wait and see.

The 30-year-old "Extreme Weight Loss" actor has been a fan favorite on Twitter to play the role of the sexy billionaire Christian. He's appeared on the hit NBC series "Friday Night Lights," and had starring roles in Lifetime's "12 Men of Christmas" and the short film "The Charon Incident." Some Twitter users call him "the perfect choice" for the role, saying that he is their "favorite" contender.

IB Times reports that Pavelka is flattered with the chatter regarding the possibility of him starring in "Fifty Shades," according to Mstarz.

"I think it's great and I'm extremely flattered. It's amazing how social media has changed the game in T.V. and film. If this would have happened a few years back, I don't think that my name would be in the mix at all. I am lucky to be involved in the beginning stages of it all," he said.

However, others say he might be more fit to play Elliot, Christian's fun, blonde brother, who coined the catchphrase of the trilogy, "Laters, baby."

"Fifty Shades of Grey" has sold 70 million copies worldwide and will now reportedly get a fourth installation to the trilogy, The Inquisitr reports.
