Amanda Bynes remains in a Southern California hospital in forced psychiatric hold and is being treated with drugs for schizophrenia, TMZ reports.

The former Nickelodeon star was hauled off to the hospital last week after she allegedly started the gasoline fire around the corner from her parents' house in Thousand Oaks, Calif, the New York Daily News reports.

Amanda Bynes has earned the attention of fans and celebrities alike for her unusual behavior and recent criminal activity, including throwing a marijuana pipe at security guards from her New York apartment.

Her mother has also asked the judge handling her case to keep the courtroom closed for the next hearing.

No word yet on the state of Amanda Bynes or if she has been officially diagnosed with schizophrenia.
