International Business Times noted that the firmware with build number XXUBMG8 will be received over-the-air by other Samsung Galaxy S2 Plus users living in other parts of the globe.

Citing Sam Mobile, the official Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean update for Samsung Galaxy S2 Plus offers improvement on the performance of the system. There is also an enhancement made for TouchWiz, except some features found on Samsung Galaxy S4.
