Subway Shark Found Riding NYC Train [PICS]: Dead Shark Had MetroCard, Cigarette, Can Of Red Bull

A shark was found on a NYC subway train.

The shark found on the train was found under a row of seats on a Queens-bound N train at 14th street. The shark was still wet.

The shark carcass was discovered on the floor of a subway car. It was discovered around midnight in Manhattan.

"I thought it was just a plush toy or a prank," passenger Juan Cano said to press. "When I saw the teeth that's I knew it was real, it was no toy."

The conductor of the subway asked passengers to leave the carriage and locked the doors when the shark was found. The train then continued to the end of the line, where a supervisor disposed of the shark.

The source of the shark on the train is a mystery...but at some point, it was "dressed" with a cigarette in its mouth, a MetroCard, and a can of Red Bull

Pigeons and an opossum have found their way onto the subway...but the shark is a first, officials told press.

Isvett Verde, from Brooklyn, New York, said she that the empty compartment she boarded on the the N train at 8th Street "smelled extremely fishy".

"It's hard to be surprised as there are always crazy things happening in this city, but even that was a bit much," she said.
