Eminem New Album 2013 [UPDATE] Performs G-Shock Concert In NYC [VIDEOS] No New Music, No Comment On Rumored Sept. 2 Release Date

Eminem new album 2013: Performances at G-Shock's "Shock the World" concert in NYC Wednesday might signal that the rapper could be done with preparation for the album or close to it because he is about to embark an international tour for the rest of the month of August.

This tour will end when the rumor Sept. 2 release date for Eminem's eighth studio-album. Thought it isn't official, Eminem didn't comment about the 2013 new album while the 40-year-old rapper celebrated his 30th anniversary with the watch company.

It was confirmed that Eminem would perform new music for the forthcoming 2013 album, but no videos have leaked or no reports have come out about any new songs. G-Shock originally announced it would stream his performance live, but decided to stream everything besides Eminem's portion of the concert. Does this have any meaning to it? It might not because no word even through Twitter has come out about new music.

There was confirmation that the Detroit rapper also known as Slim Shady did perform some of his classic hits like "Loose Yourself," "Won't Back Down" and more.

Videos showed Eminem sporting a white t-shirt with a green hat. Joining him was producer Mr. Porter as he opened with "Won't Back Down." He went into songs like "Lose Yourself," which was off the "8 Mile" soundtrack. "Stan," "Sing for the Moment" and features in other artists' songs like B.O.B.'s "Airplanes" and Drake's "Forever" were also rapped during the show.

"This next song that I wrote, is for anybody whose ever been in a f---ed place. I wrote this when I was in my f---ed place and maybe it helped some people out who were going through the same s---," he told the crowd in reference to his years of substance abuse. "So anybody in this room who has ever gone through it, this song is for you," Eminem said to the crowd, Enstarz reported.

Though there might not have been any new music, a special, limited edition Eminem watch was released Wednesday as well.

The name "Shady" will be written on all the watches. "This attention-grabbing watch also has the rugged functionality that sets the G-SHOCK brand apart, with Shock Resistance, 200M Water Resistance, Auto LED Super Illuminator, 5 Daily alarms with Flash Alert, 48-City World Time, and Multi-Home settings for worldwide touring," according to G-Shock.
